Equipment by DAS Audio, dBX, JBL, Klark-Teknik, Midas, QSC, Soundcraft and Yamaha. Curated festival PA solutions for 50 – 2500 pax audiences, ideal for one-off and community events. Private parties, venues, weddings or multi-day outdoor festivals are all within our scope of experience and expertise. We have battery powered high-quality portable speakers for wedding ceremonies, funerals and PR media launch events.

We work in association with our respected local AV partners on larger scale events.

LIGHTING & TRUSS:

Brands include Event Lite, Chauvet, American DJ, AVE and ACS. Although we mainly focus on the audio side of production services, we have a focused (see what we did there) range of DMX LED lighting fixtures and truss to help spruce up a band type gig. Truss components are by Global Truss and we mostly stock black-finish in various lengths.

LOGISTICS:

Transportation of hired and fly-gear equipment is an important adjunct to our on-hire services. Simply advise the location and scheduled time and we’ll have your hire &/or fly gear on stage, set up and ready for your crew and artists to tweak at soundcheck – according to your stage plot of course. Or we’ll simply do a “dump ‘n run” to save you some bucks. Your comfort and confidence is our favourite musical key. Do note we operate under the Live Music Awards with regulatory compliance to after-hours plus Sunday and Public Holiday (min. 4hr call) requirements.

REHEARSAL STUDIO

Adelaide Backline Rehearsal Studio is situated in a professionally equipped 8m x 6m x 3m open studio facility at our 20 Regent St, Melrose Park, South Australia facility. Located approximately 15-mins south of both Adelaide CBD and international airport, we are a 3-mins walk to Castle Plaza Shopping Centre, Edwardstown – plus several major fast-food outlets, licensed hotels and restaurants. The room has split system air-conditioning and band centric amenities.

  • Additional backline &/or audio equipment may be hired directly from ABPH ad hoc – subject to availability.
  • Should the standard in-house equipment not be available (on-hire) we will substitute accordingly with our professional tour-grade audio and backline equipment.

    Terms & Conditions

    1. Bookings are on a ad-hoc basis unless otherwise arranged ♣
    2. Cash payment in advance for non-account customers. No CC payments.
    3. Our automated entry system allows permission to enter the Studio and amenities exclusively for your session times.
    4. You must exit the building no later than 5-minutes prior to the conclusion of your designated session – or be subject to a $80 late exit fee.
    5. Strictly no cancellations, credits or refunds within 48-hours of a booking under any circumstance.
    6. Hire cost includes rehearsal studio, toilet & kitchen amenities, plus the standard PA and backline gear as listed above.
    7. Whether you chose to utilise the backline equipment or bring your own remains your prerogative however it does not affect the standard room hire fee.
      NB* No external drum kits unless a direct hire/setup from ABPH inventory for multi-day lockouts.

    SECURITY

    By law we advise CCTV, motion and heat sensors are located throughout the facility including 24/7 security monitoring.
    Security access is granted solely within each confirmed session time period.
    Your group will be assigned a security access code and instructions for entering/exiting the facility provided on completion of prepayment.
    You must pack down and remove all personal equipment, remove all rubbish and vacate the premises within your allotted time period.

    GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING

    Please DO NOT place open drink containers including beer / water / juice bottles on top of ANY equipment or amplifiers supplied by the ABPH. In fact this is a good stage practice.. just sayin’!!

    NO SMOKING inside the premises whatsoever or within 10m of the facility entrance. Smokers please use sand bin at driveway gates.

    As with all things at ABPH we work on a system of mutual respect and understanding. The gear provided is valuable and to be treated appropriately. You are responsible for any equipment breakages/loss. This does not include drums skins as we will replace these from time to time.

    Remember – SAFETY FIRST !!!.
